Roma features One Six in new release 'Mkombozi'

Roma has dropped a new hit song titled Mkombozi that he features One Six in. It is a lovely hip-hop Swahili song that is really an ode to God’s role in Roma’s life.

As with many Tanzanian artists, Roma goes in on the beat with everything he has. The beat is a little ol’skool, almost a standard of what you hear on every freestyle battle. Roma on the other hand has a tight flow, like Fid Q type of tight. He raps fluently in Swahili with two or three English lines. One Six lays his beautiful singing voice on the hook of the song and occasionally harmonizes through the verses.

The video is well set in a church where Roma goes in to pray and the congregation sings along to the hook of the song. It progresses to the streets with some shots in the night and others during the day. There is good camera play with in the middle of the ocean illusion for the pianist and the piano. It is a lovely video with a lot of colour and clarity.
