Vybz Kartel releases new song 'World Government'

For his birthday, Vybz Kartel gifted his fans a new song, ‘World Government’ and the video was really about the fans and for them.

World Government is Vybz Kartel using his position as a person of influence to speak on the wrongs of his country. He speaks on the many things the Jamaican government is doing wrong to the country and even on a larger scale, to its youth. He also speaks on police brutality against the youth which he strongly condemns.

The video took the direction of his fans on streets asking for the government to release the world boss, as he is popularly known. His fans are in tee-shirts and placards that are endowed with the same message. There are also people endorsing him, as an endorsement of the youth to be in power positions as they would understand the country better. It really shows off Jamaica’s street culture with dancing, bikes, smoking and all that.

Vybz continues to be one of the most active artists from Jamaica and it is very easy to forget that he is actually incarcerated. Catch a vibe with the world boss on this ‘World Government’.
