Skip Marley has been blowing up with a lot of music lately collaborating with some cool artists including H.E.R on his latest song ‘Slow Down’.
Skip and his producer took on the direction of fusing a bit of pop to his default Reggae sound which worked well to bring life to Skip’s sound and to H.E.R’s sound both individually and together.
‘Slow Down’ is about a budding love set in New York. We move from the street to a downtown party then to the subway and a finally a full circle moment back to the streets. This is set as a progression of the love interest developing between Skip and H.E.R (acting as love interests).
These two genius and soulful artists have written a simple and yet very soulful and beautiful masterpiece with ‘Slow Down’. It is such a groovy tune that inspires to slow dance with them as they are in the video or even set a mood as they are with the lighting and every scene in the video.
Skip Marley and H.E.R definitely know what is up on their YouTube and Slow Down is one of the most beautiful pieces on there.
