After a year of going through a lot of changes, R&B singer, Fille Mutoni took to social media to give fans an update on what she's been up to lately.
Reflecting on what she describes as “the most challenging time” of her life, captioned the video she shared; ''SMILE!!!! And always remember “when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade)” *in kenzo’s voice. Happy holidays!!!! You WON! Ignore the goofiness, am a big time weirdo."
The 'Mudaala' hit maker has not released too many songs this year because of the problems she has faced. At the beginning of the year, she broke up with her longtime boyfriend and fiancee, Edwin Katamba alias MC Kats.
This affected her music career because Kats who doubled as her manager confiscated her social media pages where she promoted her music.
This same year in October, she checked into rehab with reports saying that she was using drugs. She stood still and managed to get back on stage in November.
Fast forward, last week, MC Kats, came out on stage at Fame Lounge and declared that he was HIV positive. Fingers started pointing at Fille too since the two have been together for quite a while and have a lovely daughter.
Despite all the challenges has been able to withstand and stay alive for her daughter. In the video shared on her Instagram, she summarized the year in a few sentences.
"I want to talk to you. How has been your 2019? Personally, I’m literally speechless, this year has tested me. It has tested my patience, stability, faith in God, but I survived. We survived because if you’re still here, then that means you survived. If you’ve survived 2019, you better smile." She said.
