The wasafi frat is kicking off the year on a high with one of the high-profiling artists, Mbosso releasing his new song, ‘Ate’ and its visuals.
Mbosso is on to love on this song as he is on most of his other songs and we really love him for that. ‘Ate’ is what seems like a joyful celebration of a budding love and its growth and maturity calls for comparison against Diamond and Tanasha’s partnership.
Mbosso is as poetic and melodic on this track as he usually is. You can hear and really feel the Taarabu influence in the sound of the sound, the arrangement of the lyrics and in his flow/style of singing. He gives the video an even more Coastal feel with his occasional breaks into chakacha wining.
The video uses a lot of natural lighting and greenery in its making. Every shot involves Mbosso and his video love interest enjoying their love in every beautiful way. The director also includes a lot slow-motion technology to give some intense scenes and stills through the video.
