Is R9 dropping before the close of the decade?

Rihanna has been keeping her fans waiting for a little over 200 weeks since her last album, Anti. She revealed in the November issue of vogue that her album, now dubbed R9 would be dropping soon and people thought that it meant like this year soon but R9 has been released.

Earlier this week, Rihanna posted on her social media a video of a dog bopping and captioned it as her listening to R9. She is a huge troll but that definitely hinted that R9 is complete waiting for release. The album will be Rihanna’s studio album and she mentioned that it might not be fully reggae but it is reggae-inspired in its entirety.

Just today morning, Def Jam Records posted a photo of Rihanna without any caption besides some emoticons. The post has since gone wild and fans are excited at the simple question/possibility of the album dropping tonight or something. Neither Rihanna nor Def Jam have since commented under the post.

R9 has been cooking for a while and Rihanna has been trolling the Navy even longer and really, the world is about ready for R9 even tonight.
