Formerly known as Tic Tac, the now rebranded Ghanaian musician, Tic, has expressed emotions abut how Ghanaians receive his work. The musician says he is sad Ghanaians don’t appreciate his music regardless of the huge effort he puts into it.
“Sometimes I feel underrated but it is really about what I want to achieve. I spend a lot of money on my music. But the thing is, you will invest and invest but people will not appreciate it like they are supposed to,” TIC said when he spoke to Andy Dosty on Accra-based Hitz FM. TIC says that he wishes Ghanaians could support his craft
“My mind is always set. When I haven’t done anything, expect something, I do not worry about myself. It only bothers me when I do not get what I set my mind to achieve,” he added.
TIC left the music scene for sometime and came back in 2017 rebranded.
Since he started music, TiC has received eleven Ghana Music Awards, including Musician of the Year in 2004. At the 2005 Ghana Music Awards, he had a record nine nominations.
