What a great year it has been for fast rising artist, John Blaq.
He is among the few artists that have achieved a lot in this ending year. From releasing top hits, to winning major awards locally and internationally.
He walked away with three awards in the Buzz Teeniez Awards; Teeniez Male Artist Of The Year. Teeniez Artist of the year, Teeniez Breakthrough Artist of the year. At the 6th Annual StarQT Awards that took place in South Africa, the youngster walked away with the ‘Best Vocal’ award.
Born John Kasadha, the singer has decided to bless his fans with a brand-new song titled ‘Nekwatako’ before the year ends.
In ‘Nekwatako’ (Luganda word to mean; Hold onto Me/ Lean on Me), John Blaq unleashes soulful vocals praising his lover while asking how she would feel if they walked down the aisle.
In the lyrics, John Blaq lists a number of celebrity names saying he would love them to attend his wedding. People like Zuena, Barbie Kyagulanyi, Sheebah, Kataaha, Lupita, Winnie Nwagi, Fabiola, Kadaga, Daniella, Gashumba, Byanyima, etc.
The audio was mixed and mastered by talented producer, Wani.
