Popular rapper Mungi Emmanuel Matovu Matovu commonly known as Mun G has dropped his latest music project titled, ‘Igwe (Weyayu).

‘Weyayu’ (for ‘Where Are You?’) became the talk of town after Big Talent Boss Eddy Kenzo’s infamous Facebook live video in which he appeared crying and asking for the Ugandan government to intervention in his troubled life. It becomes the second popular statement after Chosen Becky’s ‘Kasukali Keko’.

Not wanting to be left behind, artists are using this opportunity to make songs out of it. At first, we saw famous DJ Crim release ‘Weyayu’ in late November.

Mun G’s new song was produced by renown producers Diggy Baur and Aki and it is inspired by life in the ghetto. The hilarious lyrics, so typical of him, will keep you playing the song over and over again.

In the video, the ‘Kunta Kinte Entertainment’ boss dresses in dirty shoes and torn clothes to depict life in the ghettos as he strolls through the streets being followed by a group of people especially kids.

Kind of different from the usual ‘Weyayu’ meaning, Mun G sings about enjoyments and life of party animals and as usual praising women.

The 4 minutes video was directed by award winning videographer, Zyga Phix and it is already receiving positive feedback on YouTube.
