Latest media reports and rumours in Ghana indicate that popular American singer and song writer Beyoncé Giselle  known in entertainment circles as Beyoncé will be visiting Ghanaian the coming weeks as part the country’s Year of Return celebrations.

The reports also suggest that the ordinary Ghanaian is not likely to see her. This is because the 38-year-old musician’s visit to Ghana will, however, not be about music. She will simply not be performing during her visit to Ghana.

Sources say that former PepsiCo, Apple and Uber executive, Bozoma Saint John, played a key role in this arrangement. Essence Ventures, an independent Black-owned consumer technology company is also a major partner as Mrs Carter is expected to be at the 2019 Essence Full Circle Festival which launched in September 2019 and will support cultural ownership and economic collaboration in Africa and building bridges between Africans on the continent and in the diaspora.

Pulse.com.gh in Ghana report that some floors at the luxurious Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra have been reserved with changes made to earlier bookings as sources say security and privacy is something Beyoncé is very keen on.

The American singer, songwriter and actress is a global superstar having made a mark in the music industry with albums including "Dangerously in Love", "B’Day" and "Lemonade".
