GHANA: Sarkodie wishes to live an ordinary life

“To many people, living a life where everyone knows you the moment you step out of your house. This sounds very flattering and fulfilling but little do they know that some of the people who lead this kind of life,deep down want to live their lives as just ordinary people,”says Sarkordie .
Sarkodie is one of Africa’s biggest rappers and his stardom is cutting into his family time. Sarkodie says he wishes to live a basic life. He indicated how he sometimes feels like going to the beach with his daughter just to have fun but his current life makes its impossible.
The king of rap music shared this wish in a conversation with Voice of America. According to him, he would have loved to do music without being famous but that has not been the case.
The rapper recalled one day while driving around the beach in Accra and how people were having fun but he could not join because people would expect photos and will want to come closer.
In other news,Sarkodie’s new banger, ‘Ofeetso’ is doing spectacularly well on Ghana and International charts.
