November Wasafi Festival snubs Kenyan musicians

The Wasafi Festival is happening this weekend and many artists have been confirmed. Of course the whole WCB crew and Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Jux and many more. It is however very evident that there is not a single artist from Kenya headlining the November 2019 festival.

A couple of people have noticed this and gone on to question how Tanzanians and its industry stakeholders view Kenyan music. They without doubt have a lot of influence from their music that mirrors in music from Kenya. We a whole catalogue of hot artists that could really floor the stage.

The question might however be whether this is WCB questioning the existence of good performers in Kenya or just really outright snubbing Kenyans. Also, does this change how any Kenyan planning to go watch WCB crew and friends in concert or Kenyan promoters inviting them into the country for the many shows in December?
