Akon tapping into his Afro-roots with new album 'Akonda'

Akon has been teasing about his new music that will take 4 different routes and the African route has led to his now released new album, ‘Akonda’. We have only heard one single from the album ‘Wakonda’ before the album release and that was the pace the whole album actually took.
The Senegalese put together a heavily Afrobeat album for his fans which is very apparent in all the ten tracks in it. He has featured different artists from W. Africa; Olamide, Kizz Daniel, Skales and Afro B. Every featured artists brings something fun to the album and it is an overall fast-paced and up-beat album to enjoy. Akon taps into a lot of W. African pidgin English through the album which is amazing and sounds almost natural for him.
You can trust that you will dance through ‘Akonda’ and this is an album you want to carry with/for you through the weekend.
