ZAMBIA: Slick-One Releases New 'Sugar & Spice' Off Debut Album 'The Inception'

Zambian based Rap word-play Maestro Slick-One, releases new single ‘Sugar & Spice’ as the 4th and final release off his debut album ‘The Inception.’ The album is set to be officially released before the end of 2019.
‘Sugar & Spice’ features Kunkeyani Tha Jedi and was produced by Sarrz Beatz. The video was shot by Director Verb of Levelz Studios. The song is Slick-One’s way of subtly warning the competition that he is not here to play games and just like the combination of sugar & spice, he is nothing nice.
Slick was born in Chungu Katontoka, Zambia on the 1st of November, 1989. He has been in the underground hip-hop scene actively since 2011 when he was part of the now defunct rap group “G-5ive”; he decided to go independent in 2013 and has since released 3 mixtapes (C.R.E.A.M. Part 1, C.R.E.A.M. Part 2 and Legacy).
These projects featured a lot of other young and super talented artists from Lusaka like Voodoo Child, Camstar, Kunkeyani Tha Jedi, F Jay, Nick Pro, Rap Nation, Caristo Clear (R.I.P), Jagari Chanda Jr., Chulu Ackres, Jasmine Kasoma, Rec Rymer,C-Street, Klappa Heiz and to mention but a few.
He is currently in the studio working on his debut album titled “The Inception” which he says is definitely his best work yet. The release date of this project hasn’t been set yet but Slick assures it is dropping this year without a doubt.
The first three promo singles released off “The Inception” are “They Know” featuring Rec Rymer, “Zuba Na Mpepo” featuring Voodoo Child and 3. “Call On Me” all of which have been received extremely well both locally and in so it’s safe to say “The Inception” is set to be an album for the books.
