WCB Wasafi records are honoured to bring you a new big tune dubbed ‘Shilingi'. The master mind behind the lovely jam is none other than Mbosso. He tags teams with Nigeria’s megastar Reekado Banks. For those who find Mbosso to be vaguely familiar, you probably saw with Yamoto Band, he was part of the ‘Nitakupwelepweta' hit makers. They rocked the East African air waves between 2014-2015 with hit songs like ‘Niseme', ‘Nisambazie Raha' and ‘Mama’. The band later spilt up due to internal issues and everybody went their separate ways. The road to success didn’t stop for Mbosso though, his been making some serious strides in his music career. He signed for WCB Wasafi and never looked back ,his been dropping hit after hit songs on his solo run. ‘Nadekezwa', ‘Hodari' , ‘Tamu' and ‘Alele' are all hit songs all with over 5million plus streams. Pick a favourite, he has a song to fit your every mood.

In his new single ‘Shilingi' , Mbosso and Reekado tag team to produced a magical creation. ‘Shilingi' is a love song and Mbosso is no stranger when it comes to matters of the heart. He entwines us in his symphony with brilliant word play and infectious hook.

Penzi sarafu lina pande mbili

Shilingi ya ng’ara ng’ara

Mwengewe bichwa mie

Shilingi ya ng’ara ng’ara

Reekado joins and bring that West African flavor and sprinkles it all over the bongo beat, bringing ‘Shilingito life.  Being Mbosso’s first international collaboration, the team had to step up.  The killer track produced by Abbah Process, mastering and mixing by Lizer Classic. The visuals for the song are really exemplary, with the theme of love, it had to a wedding. You can’t sit when listening to ‘Shilingi' , every bone in my body is aching to bust some movies to the bongo beat. Kudos to Mbosso and Reekado for this sweet jam.
