Jidenna Releases Official Video for Sufi Woman

As part of the release of his album 85 to Africa, Jidenna has been treating us to a video every week. This week he has treated us to the visuals to one of the people’s favourite, Sufi Woman. It has a Tekno imprint in that it reminds you of his Pana tune and is just a continuation of his Hot Boy Summer.
Sufi woman is without doubt a celebration of the woman, a black woman. This is well married into the visuals of the song. There are many women, malanated queens incorporated in the video. It is also a true incorporation of his Africanness and that of the album, as he did explain that the album was made in Africa and really being there physically. The video takes earthy tones and has everyone there well camouflaged in that theme.
