MTV Video Music Awards 2019

The award season is all year round and last night the MTV Video music awards happened and that is definitely what we were staying up for. This year, the VMAS had Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift tied up for the most nominations with 10 each and Missy Elliot was bagging the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award.

A lot of music has been released and Taylor Swift and Ariana didn’t get to bag all the awards they were nominated for but were among the big winners of the night. Billie Eilish, The Jonas Brothers and Camila Cabello & Shawn Mendes for their hit single Senorita were the other big winners of the night. Other winners included BTS, Halsey, Panic in the Disco, Cardi B and Bebe Rexha.

Taylor Swift and many more took to the stage to perform. Miley Cyrus belted her new break-up anthem for the audience. Lizzo reminded the people on why she is queen. H.E.R dropped the snake around her neck from the red carpet to get on stage and perform her new single Anti. Missy treated the audience to her ever lit performances with legendary tunes for a whole 16 minutes, a time slot set for every MJ Vanguard award recipient.
