Kamauu Releases Video for ‘Bamboo’

Kamau has since added another U to his name since his last performance in Kenya and another EP to the mix, The Kamauu Cassette: MiXD Greens. He released his lead single to the album, Clover a couple of weeks ago and over the weekend he released the visuals to the first track on the EP, Bamboo.

Kamauu has taken on a very earthy and folk-fused direction with his videos. Bamboo is no different, it has the traditional Chinese flute, straw hats from the Chinese people and a lot of greenery to support the visuals. It has a small community that Kamauu has created with the vixens appearing on their video, well melanated and covered with earthy colours. Kamauu covers the track with a rap that has great flow and a sung chorus and bridges that maries well with the soft but commanding simple visuals.
