#MdundoCelebrityLunch: 'Chinjiana' with Yvonne Darq Over Lunch

Yvonne Darcq has been busy since ‘I can Sing’ went off the air and we are here for all her new releases. Three weeks ago she released visuals and audio of her hit song ‘Chinjiana’ and the fans were as excited as the mdundo team.
Courtesy of Mdundo, Lunch with Yvone was up for grabs for fans via a lyrics challenge of one of her songs on social media. The first two fans to get the lyrics right would then get to join Yvonne for lunch. The heap of responses on Twitter and Instagram fell in favour of Teddy and Jamie; for speed and accuracy.
Lunch was well catered for at the ‘For You Chinese Restaurant’. Teddy and Jamie had their questions ready and Yvonne answered everything without any reservations. She is a chatty and bubbly person and her voice encapsulates a room with overflowing confidence and joy. She told stories about her experience in the industry and ended the lunch by a treat of an impromptu performance of her song ‘Mambo Bado’, a fun favourite.
