‘Mathogothanio’ Tops List Of Most Watched Videos In Kenya Last Week

In a week that was dominated by condolence messages and tributes to fallen musician John DeMathew, very few people expected any new releases to feature in the list of most watched videos in Kenya on YouTube.

However, ‘Mathogothanio’ made the cut and emerged the top watched musical video on YouTube Kenya, last week.

The song by DJ Lyta featuring, KRG The Don and Boondocks Gang is currently number 6 on Kenyan YouTube trends with over 229,000 views.

All the videos from position one to five were tributes to John DeMathew who succumbed to an accident last week in Thika.

The only other Kenyan song that made it to the top twenty list is Superstar by Mr Seed featuring his wife Nimo.
