DYO and Mr Eazi want to ‘Go all the way'

By Ian Jacob

Dayo Olatunji, better known by her stage name DYO has a wonderful song out. It’s dubbed  ‘Go All the way' and it features Famous Nigerian artist Mr Eazi. DYO has roots in Nigeria but she grew up in London so she identifies as English. Her new song is a tribute to vintage African studio photographers like Malick Sidibé, James Barnor , Seydou Keïta and Samuel Fosso.

DYO’s vocals are marvelous as she hits some really high notes without breaking a sweat. Despite growing up in the UK, DYO blends some of her Nigerian vernacular to the song to ad some spice and maintaining her ethnicity as she pays tribute. Mr Eazi as always, delivers a solid verse and also sings duet with DYO on the chorus. The Mirza produced track sees the two artists singing suggestively about their lovers. “Go go, go all the way” DYO and Eazi sing the chorus.

Other song’s from DYO include ‘Arena' dropped early this year and ‘Can you hear me?
