For sometime now, Gengetone has overshadowed any other genre of music in Kenya. Wakadinali are bringing Hip-hop back to the limelight on “High noon”. Wakadinali have quite the line up on the Ares66 produced beat. They have the veteran superstar Abbas Kubaff and Kenya’s rap star Khaligraph flexing on the track. “High noon” has a classic 90’s hip-hop, if Tupac Shakur was still alive, he would have thrown down some serious bars to a beat built this good.
The four and half minute jam sounds more like a cypher because every artist on the track is really bring the heat to out do the other. Abbas Kubaff introduces the song with a mighty and witty world play ,he still rocks the mic with a cocky flow. Khaligraph and Wakadinali both deliver solid verses with a flawless flow to boot. Kudos to Wakadinali crew for the spectacular track and striving saving to save hip-hop in Kenya. Other tracks by Wakadinali include “Morio Anzenza” and “Ulikuwa wapi” among others.
