Is Rihanna Ditching Tidal For Spotify 'R9' Release?

A couple of years ago, Jay Z and friends created TIDAL and had other artists sign on in ways they could own full rights of their music. Part of the friends squad was Rihanna and she, in that year released ‘ANTI’. All the promotion gearing up to the album were available there and TIDAL did get the exclusive release of the album.

In anticipation of her 9th studio album, Rihanna has unfollowed TIDAL on all social media and is now following spotify, another online streaming platform. All her albums have been released in November but ANTI which was leaked by one of the people on TIDAL. It could be then that she wants to avoid having to deal with leaked material this time around or she is just not feeling TIDAL for the release of R9.

Either way, we hope that we don’t have to wait until November and Rihanna and Spotify are about to hit us with an R9 surprise sooner than soon.
