Lil Nas X Breaks Chart Record

Lil Nas X blew up some months ago after doing a remix of his song ‘Old Town’ with the legendary country musician, Billy Ray Cyrus. The song has since been on the charts and not only that; it has been topping the USA charts. It has been at number one for the past 17 weeks.
This means that it is the longest running song at the top of the charts. This is after dethroning Mariah Carey’s One Sweet Day featuring Boys II Men and Louis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s Despacito. Mariah went ahead to congratulate Lil Nas X for this new milestone and thanked her fans for keeping her run that long and Boy II Men for creating that masterpiece with her. Lil Nas has also taken to social media to thank his fans and express his excitement.
