Fast-rising female musician Jovial has finally explained why she parted ways with musician Otile Brown’s Just in Love record label.
In an interview with Mseto East Africa, Jovial noted that she is no longer a member of Otile’s record label because the latter ended her contract.
According to her, Otile ended her contract after they had a disagreement, but did not disclose what they disagreed about. During the interview, Jovial made it clear that she was yet to join a new record label.
“I wish to clarify that I didn't quit @OtileBrown's Just In Love record label. It's him who ended my contract after some disagreements which are confidential. Am also not signed by any record label, David Guoro is just my manager,” Mseto East Africa tweeted.
Jovial and Otile released two songs together; Zichune and Amor which performed very well on YouTube.
She was the first signing of the record label. Otile Brown is yet to issue a statement explaining his side of the story.
