Fridays Are For Fresh Releases

Weekends are for good albums and it has been so all this month and it is confirmed that Friday is the unofficial release your new album day. Artists have been doing most of their releases pre-weekend. Last week we experienced the greatness of Willow Smith and Beyonce.

The release of albums on Friday has a great consumer effect it being that artists command the full concentration of their artists. There is however the trick of all the artists receiving the amount of attention their albums call for hence having some albums over-shadowed by others. This might not be quantified by the greatness of the album but by the greatness and popularity of the artist named on the album. In essence, an artist’s name will influence the sales of an album. An example is how Beyonce made us forget all released albums all through last week and the weekend.
