Diamond’s WCB Records Signs Two New Musicians

Popular Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz’s record label Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) has signed two new artists.

Diamond confirmed the signings, but did not reveal their identity adding that the same will be done on a later date.

Explaining why the two were yet to be unveiled, Diamond noted that the unveiling was set on a later date to avoid clashing with the Wasafi festival.

According to him, Wasafi Festival is receiving a lot of love from Tanzanians, and unveiling the two musicians at the moment will not give them the much needed publicity.

“Unajua bwana mimi sikufichi sisi watu wa kimasikini na Baraka twasipata tukisaidiana tukishikana mikono wenyewe kwa wenyewe. Tumesign wasanii wengine wawili, msanii mmoja wa kike, mwingine wa kiume na naamini watu watawapenda.

“Tukianza kuwatoa sahi tutavuruga, hawatapata attention kwa sababu ya Wasafi Festival ina makelele sana. Wasafi festival ikifanyika shughuli zote nchini hazifanyiki, labla za serikali lakini sio entertainment, tukiwatoa sahi tutawahiribia,” he said.

WCB is Tanzania’s top record label and brags of musicians such as; Harmonize, Mbosso, Lava Lava among others.
