Vera Sidika Releases New Jam ‘Mimi’ Along New Skin Tone

By Rodgers Omondi

Kenyan socialite cum business lady Vera Sidika has released her latest single dubbed ‘Mimi’.

‘Mimi’ is a Swahili word that loosely translates to ‘Me’. In the song, Vera chants fluent Swahili lyrics, and hits out at those criticizing her because of her looks.

She notes that despite our physical appearance, and skin colour, we are all equal before the Almighty God.

The audio has been produced by Ihaji, and the video visualized by Nezzoh Montana.

Her display of class, perfect video theme and background make the song a must watch.

In a short description on YouTube, she noted that the song is meant to explain the importance of taking risks in life.

“Logic can get you from point A to B, Imagination can get you everywhere. Mimi is my new single depicting the essence of audacity in life,” she posted.

‘Mimi’ is making a kill on YouTube having managed over 9,500 views  less than an hour after being released.

This is Vera’s second song. Last year, she made her debut in the music industry with ‘Nalia’.
