Saweetie Does Have A Type

Saweetie is one of the rap queens that we are all enjoying at the moment. She gathered attention when videos of her freestyling over some ol’skool beats blew up in the internet. She stepped onto the spot with her first single ‘Icy girl’.
One day after her birthday, Saweetie dropped a video of her song ‘My Type’. She had what she described as a horrible day after she missed a performance, got the wrong wig and didn’t have a fit for her birthday. I guess she had to drop a hit video to save the day.
The video is shot in Bay Area where she was really just representing the hood. They have shots from a basketball pitch, shots in the street and an abandoned space with motor-sport cars. It has a retro and well played out colourful shots which make the video interesting to watch.
