Good morning! Thank you for having me... So guys I'm here o! Ask away!

Welcome to Kenya! How's Nairobi treating you so far? Any highlights?

Nairobi has been treating me with so much love! Thank you Mdundo for the wonderful dinner with my sister singers of Kenya yesterday!

Does your name have a meaning?

Yeah! It means 'i love children' in my local dialect.

Tell us about your journey in music... How did it all start?

It started for real when I emerged 1st runner up Idols West Africa.

Your song writing skill is breathtaking... What inspires your lyrics when you write your music?

A lot of things, I draw inspiration from life stories, feel good stories or stories that evoke emotion but sometimes I don't write alone o!

How was it like for you to record your very first song?

I came up with my first single driving on 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos.

Who are some of the musicians that you listened to in your younger years?

Strong African musicians like Mariam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Angelique Kidjo, Onyeka Onwenu, Christy Essien, Salif Keita amongst many…

We can't stop listening to ‘Without You’  We love it o! What's the story behind this beautiful song?

It was originally dedicated to my husband but now it's for my fans o.

What's the secret behind your bold strong voice?

I don't know o! I guess that's just how I sing.

What's that one thing that you must do in preparation for a performance?

No rituals really, I like to sit quietly to conserve energy and a short prayer before I go on stage.

Tell us about your great friendship with Waje Are you working on more hits with her any time soon?

We just Produced our first movie titled 'She Is..' and we did a song with the same title and a soundtrack. Waje and I are more like sisters.

How's your typical day like back home?

If I'm not in the studio, or on stage and I like to relax with my family.

It's been awesome hanging out with you but we have to say goodbye! We can't wait to do this again... Keep up the good music o! Cheers
