YouTube has been having different things trending this week. It comes as no surprise that much has been from the just done BET awards show. History was made and great speeches and performances were made and YouTube was here for it. Let us see what was trending this week.

Cardi B and Offset set the stage on fire with the first performance of the night. Cardi brought out husband, Offset for her set with they did a joint performance of Clout and Press. Offset was dancing and stuff and the women dancers were killing it in green and pink. They, Cardi and Offset re-enacted the clout video and the crowd was wilding, and so has YouTube been with close to over 10 million views only 4 days later.

South Africa has been enjoying a whole lot of airplay. Their Ndlovu Youth Choir made people happy on the America Got Talent stage. Sho Madjozi earlier in the week went ahead to be the first South African to win a BET award. S.A has been partying on their musical wins this week.

Mama Burna went on stage to receive an award for Burna after he disappeared in thin air. She gave a short speech on behalf of her son and reminded the blacks of their African roots and thanked Africa for supporting Burna. This short speech and that of Tyler perry have been making major rounds from the night.

Diamond will not let us breathe and we want him to stop but to never stop, hahaha. Just before we could really learn tetema, he gave us baiskeli and just before we can acquaint ourselves with this style, ametufunza kukanyaga. Yes, Diamond released a new jam, ‘Kanyaga’ and Youtube went wilding. This was even used as a reference point for yesterday’s AFCON match against Tanzania. Diamond has been winning YouTube since this release.
