Rico Gang, Kartelo Gang Up for New Jam ‘Kimonyoski’

Kenyan music group Rico gang has collaborated with sheng master Kartelo to drop a new jam dubbed ‘Kimonyoski’

The song produced by Waka Waka was officially released 5 days ago.

So far, it is doing really well on YouTube having managed over 170,000 views and over 600 comments.

The song has been inspired by Kartelo’s favorite line ‘Mbogi ya Kimonyoski’.

In a short description on Youtube, the group noted that Kimonyoski was a sheng phrase for ‘a group of people who like partying’.

“Mbogi ya Kimonyoski is a sheng' term which basically means a group of people who like partying and having fun. Rico Gang has come together with Kartelo, being known to use the term very often to bring you this banger ,Mbogi ya Kimonyoski,” the group posted.

A part from  Kimonyoski, the group has produced other songs that include; Serereka, Chachisha, Taki Taki and Imenti.

Rico Gang is among the set of new music groups that have rocked the Kenyan music industry in the past year. 

Some of the other groups include; Ethic, Ochungulo family, and Boondocks Gang.
