Otile Brown Joins Forces with Jovial again To Create ‘Amor'

By Ian Jacob

Dreamland Music Entertainment Limited drops another Otile Brown melody , ‘Amor' featuring label mate Jovial. Otile seems to have grown fond of Jovial’s talent and prowess in music as she is also featured in another of Otile’s hit ‘Zichune' .

The song ‘Amor' which is literally French for ‘Love’ is a song about unconditional love. Matters of the heart is a theme Otile seems to shine and adore as most of his songs are love songs .Among them is ‘Zichune' featuring Jovial, ‘Hapo Kidogo' featuring Khaligraph Jones and ‘Nitulie' among others.

‘Amor' is a duet between Otile and Jovial as they confess their love for each other in chronological lyrics. The visuals for the song were shot in a garden and other parts of Kenya and directed by filmmaker,  Xantonio. Otile and Jovial are sure to make you fall in love with ‘Amor' with both their voices in sync through out the song and passionate lyrics as Otile sings “Sina la kuoffer zaidi ya mapenzi ya dhati” which translates to “I have nothing to offer but true love” and Jovial responds “Hali yako naelewa, wala usijali, nimekubali ulivyo” to mean ‘’I understand your state but not to worry as I’ll take you as you are. ‘’

The song is a show of how true love knows no materialistic needs for it to prevail as Otile and Jovial seem to be living a simple life. Otile is a works man and Jovial is a farmer and despite all that, they are happily in love.

This is a definite hit from Otile and it doesn’t seem to be in any  rush to change the theme of his songs but arguably still doing a great job .
