Mamakaffe Set to Launch Music Video in Nairobi this Friday

Celebrated Ivory Coast musician Mamakaffe is expected to perform in a live concert in Nairobi this coming Friday.

She will be backed by the Roots Connection Band in the concert that will be used to mark the World Music Day.

Reports indicate that Mamakaffe will launch her music video dubbed “Success” during the concert.

The concert will be held at Alliance Francaise from 7pm. Entry is free to all.

The veteran musician is known for her songs that include; Crazy World, Love Party, One Time, Natural Girl, Slave among others.

The Roots Connection band is a Roots and Culture Reggae band based in Nairobi.

The concert is expected to provide a cool environment for reggae lovers to unwind, and relax from the busy city life.

Meanwhile, Cake plaza will on the same date host an event dubbed “Afrikan Affair Project” in honor of the late Binyavanga Wainaina.

There will be music and poetry at the event, with tickets going for Sh1, 200.
