Jamaican Songstress Alaine gives an enchanting performance in the +254

Jamaican Lover’s Rock songstress Alaine visited the Kenyan capital Nairobi this past weekend.

The singer-songwriter performed as part of the Tomorrow Leader’s Festival at Kasarani this past Saturday (8.06.2019) where she performed a couple of her most famous hits. The crowds withstood the rain and frigid weather that reached lows of 16 degrees Celsius, determined to see the Reggae star perform. Alaine belted out some of her greatest hits including ‘Wafula’, ‘Rise in Love’, ‘Bye Bye Bye’ and more. She also encouraged the  lively audience with one of her most recent releases ‘You Give Me Hope.’

The 40-year-old singer has had a great career so far collaborating with some great names including Beenie Man, Wayne Marshall, Busy Signal and even Mavado. Not one to be confined by borders she has also worked with Kenyan’s Love Child, Wyre on the hit track ‘Nakupenda Pia’ which the duo performed much to the amusement of the audience.
