Manolo is Unveiled Releasing Hit Collabo with Guardian Angel

Kenyan Hip-hop gospel sensation Emmanuel Mwongela popularly known as Manolo today launched his new song ‘Kamata’ featuring his mentor Guardian Angel. The former music group ‘Recapp’ member, has since venturing into his solo career, been working on music projects such as his famed ‘One by One’ and recently ‘Mwingine’.
Since 2017, Guardian Angel has been selecting talented and dedicated fast rising stars and mentoring them to reintroduce them into the industry as a successful rebrand. He does this by working with the artists on one dedicated project until a collaboration is released.
His first artist mentee was Baraka who he worked with to releases ‘Wema Wako’. Baraka just scooped 2019 Groove Award for ‘Breakthrough Artist of The Year. This year Guardian Angel’s wand landed on the magnificent Manolo. His soulful melodious sound, well complemented by his mastery in rap makes him one versatile easy to love artist.
Zeal and energy propelled two of Kenya’s renowned acts to work on ‘Kamata’ that translates to ‘Grip’. The song is a beautiful confession of how God got gripped onto their hearts with his grace and unconditional love. As is signature for both Manolo and Guardian Angel, the song is pumped with energy and has a memorable upbeat effect.
Shot in low light with perfect balance on closet choice of colour plus a good dance, choreography, the video screams blissful attention. ‘Kamata’ is a definite hit single.
