Coke Studio Africa 2019 To Release 'Switch It Up' Music Video

Coke Studio Africa is set to release its first-ever stunning brand new music video "Switch It Up" this Friday (10th May 2019).

Coke Studio Africa 2019 closed with a grand all female finale. This was specifically to celebrate women who were part and made possible what was the 2019 edition. In the same spirit, Coke Studio Africa is now releasing its first ever music video done by three irresistibly sensational 3 African women in music.

The track is an original composition produced at the 2019 edition of the show - 'Coke Studio Africa 2019'. The song was produced by Kenyan producer Viola Karuri.

The trio delivered a breathtaking live performance of the track on the just concluded powerful Coke Studio 2019 all – female finale episode. They will be looking to emulate the unprecedented impressive run of the Coke Studio Africa 2017 original composition ‘’Said’ that featured South African highflying rapper Nasty C and award winning Nigerian singer-producer Runtown.

The thrilling music visual for “Said” garnered over 12 milllion views on You Tube and went on to bag two awards for Song of The Year and Collabo of The Year at the 2017 African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA).

The new jam to be released dubbed ‘Switch It Up’ has been performed and written by fierce fast rising Namibian femcee Lioness, South African media personality cum rapper Boity and legendary Kenyan femcee Nazizi.
