Illuminating Llumi with New Release 'I Miss You'
24 April 2019

Time to give you a dose of fresh new music because you deserve good vibes. On our radar today is Kenyan Afro-pop singer songwriter Llumi. She is truly a breath of fresh air with a sound that is neither too retro nor mainstream. It’s just the perfect balance.
Her vocals take you through a trance moment as you internalize each word in her lyrics that are arranged in a manner not any less than genius. She will strike you as the ol ' skool poetic writer but has gone ahead to merge that with a chic style of music. Llumi’s musical art gives you a round feel of house, afro- soul and pop in a magical confusion of perfection.
Releasing her latest song ‘I Miss You’ just pre-easter, it is evident she brings to the table her heart and soul. The music video took a very simplistic breathtaking scenery of the Ngong’ Hills in Kajiado county in Kenya. The easy feel of friends on a road trip is also strongly felt. She features the extremely talented contemporary dancer Davillah Skinnor who simply brings the eye candy video to life.
Look out for this girl. She’ one of the gems.
