You've got to love yourself some Beryl Owano. When we say she has life, we mean she is life itself. She is one of Kenya's best female artists. The songstress is known for her powerful lyrics that always tells a story. Fans have admitted to her voice being quite unique and irresistable. Mdundo caught up with her on #MdundoTwitterview

Beryl: Good afternoon to you, let's do this #MdundoTwitterview 

Awesome!! Great to have you on #MdundoTwitterview What's for lunch today ? 

Am on diet ,just had fruits. 

In a nut shell, how has your journey been for you so far musically? 

Wow! Overwhelming, victorious and full of LEARNING! 

What inspired you to write this song #Utafilisika and how did your fans receive it? 

#Utafilisika is a warning to "sponsors" out there and it's a lesson to ladies that they should know their worth & practice self-love. It's a killer thing in our society right now and my fans actually loved it,the support is really great just that I wish it could get more bigger. 

Most of your songs address what women go through especially the song #Sinyamazi and this recent one #Utafilisika. Is it something you've gone though personally? 

Yes,most of my songs are from my personal experiences, I see the need of addressing the issues so that females get aware of what's really happening  

How would you describe your style of music?

I'd say,Afro pop-Music to entertain and teach. 

Which artists have you always aspired to have a collaboration with and Why? 

Sanaipei Tande, Kyki Su, Gilad and Nameless

How is your day usually like from the time you wake up till evening? How would you describe your routine?

Woow!It depends with the activities of that day!At times I spend 22 hours awake,at times I spend the whole day sleeping and listening to music. 

What are your plans before the year ends? Any new music? 

The rest of this year is a time I've decided to take off music and recollect myself.Still learning a lot and hitting the studio harder. Next year is going to be a year of blessings. 

As we wind up, any album coming up? What projects are you currently working on?

Next year June-August period I'll be releasing my 1st album hopefully,am so excited over it. 

Awesome!! Could you tell us something about it, briefly?

The album,has two major collaboration from Kenya and Tz and a few Gospel songs.
