Cardi B Breaks Streaming Songs Chart Record Set by Beyonce

As Cardi B makes history on the Billboard Hot 100 dated April 21 with 13 songs charting simultaneously – the most at one time by a woman in the chart’s history -- she also makes her mark on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart with a similar record.

In all, the rapper charts 14 songs on the 50-position Streaming Songs chart, again the most at one time by any woman in the chart’s six-year history. All 13 of the tracks from her Invasion of Privacy album are on the list, along with her Bruno Mars duet “Finesse."

The previous-best mark by a woman was 12, logged by Beyoncé on the May 14, 2016, chart, all from her 2016 album Lemonade.

Cardi’s Streaming Songs assault is led by “Be Careful,” which zooms 13-6 upon the album’s release with 29.4 million streams in the week ending April 12, a 43 percent bump, according to Nielsen Music. Meanwhile, “I Like It,” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, is her top debut on the chart (coinciding with its No. 8 start on the Hot 100), racking up 25.9 million streams to bow at No. 9.

Her Streaming Songs chart presence stretches all the way down to No. 40, where “She Bad,” with YG, sits with 13.3 million streams.

Invasion of Privacy concurrently debuts atop the Billboard 200 with 255,000 equivalent album units earned, including 103,000 in traditional album sales.
