Kaberere's memorial concert set to take place today

Gospel artists and friends of the late gospel star Peter Kaberere will today converge at the Parklands Baptist Church from 4pm to 8pm for a memorial concert for their late colleague.

Led by Daddy Owen, several artists including Bahati, Dk Kwenye Beat, Danco, Eko Dydda and fans alike will be at Kaberere’s Memorial Concert to raise funds for the late Kaberere who died on Sunday evening after being electrocuted while washing his car.

“Let's meet today at Parklands Baptist Church westy from 5pm for the KABERERE'S MEMORIAL CONCERT!! plus remember to pray for our siz Kambua ameluz the dad jana. ...May The Lord our God give her strength,” Daddy Owen posted on his Facebook page.

His sudden death sent shockwaves through the gospel industry and the music scene as a whole, as friends and fellow musicians sent condolences messages to the family.

He left behind an expectant wife and baby boy.
