ALL IS SET FOR DOUBLE DOUBLE JOSH BUXTON'S GOSPEL CONCERT.
It's been almost a year since the TUMA Awards, but youngest TUMA nominee Josh Buxton has registered lots of sucesss and grabbed the moment to do a lot of things in that time.
He has formed a Music Label, Scope Music, adopted an orphan child and now he has started working on a humanitarian project. The singer says the child he adopted and his girlfriend, Jennifer Mirembe, have inspired him to look further and deeply about how useful his music can be.
Josh Buxton under his management, led by said girlfriend, president of Scope Music, a label they co-own, have formed a long term project Stand-Up-4-kids-with-Josh-Buxton (SU4K) that will help to better the lives of street children and orphans.
The project will register and start its operations in the singer's home-district, Bugiri. Later it will expand to cover other regions of Uganda and later in go international.
Josh Buxton has organised a humanitarian concert where he will launch Scope Music Label as well as roll out this SU4K project. The concert is targeting to raise funds to kick start the project. The concert which is set for Sunday 24/06/2018 has attracted a lot of media attention and from the who-is-who of Bugiri district and Eastern Uganda as a whole.
It is set to be attended by Big politicians, government officials, corporate individuals, artistes, businessmen and all people of Bugiri Municipality.
All this will go down at Miracle Centre, Bugiri which is located a few metres off the Bugiri-Tororo highway.
Many gospel and inspiration artistes have been lined up to perform and among these are Ivulungo-a former notorious secular artiste who is now born-again, Lady Jadah, Zinyooke, Sem K, Big Ray Isaac, Mercy, Kwagala Rebecca, Wigos Band, Ronnie Knowity and many others.
Speaking to Josh Buxton, in a press conference, he promised to deliver standard music as well as soul-touching messages.
