KENYA: Amani Denies Claims That She Joined The Gospel Industry To Make Money

Kenyan born-again singer, Cecilia Wairimu popularly known as Amani has refuted claims that she has switched to the gospel music industry because it pays a lot compared to secular music.

In an interview with SDE, she said;

"I've heard ridiculous things when I announced that I got saved. Guys claim that I am switching to the gospel because of money."

"I was born again a while back. Before I made the announcement, no one said anything. People can be judgemental and it's often based on perceptions. I prefer to focus on my relationship with God and getting to know him more," she added.
