"Akaseera" - HAMID Muwaya
Akaseera is a Luganda word that means ‘the moment`.
The song ‘akaseera` portrays a situation in which a couple is at the verge of breaking up, at this point the wife still loves her husband but she unexpectedly says she’s been in this relationship for a long time so she decides that she needs a change in order to experience the feeling of a new relationship.
On the other hand the husband loves his wife, still provides everything and performs his marital duties but he`s only willing to stay with her if she rekindles the love she was providing in the beginning.
‘Akaseera` is off Hamid Muwaya`s 1st album dubbed `long distance affair’.
This album talks about two friends who met online and their friendship took an unexpected twist when they fell so deep in love with each other. Finally fate brought them to the same country and even their age difference didn’t stop them from getting married however much their relatives tried so sabotage their marriage. Furthermore this album demonstrates that at least all lovers should at some point be on a ‘long distance affair` so as to test their love, faith and loyalty which later either strengthens a relationship or exposes the unfaithful lover.
