I do music to inspire people, insists Bamboo

After several reports were published touching on Bamboo’s wavering faith, the rapper has come out and set the record straight during a radio interview.

“I was brought up in a strict Christian family and Christianity has always been a part of me since I was a child. However, as an artist I am free to work with all artists across the border whether gospel or not,” he told Mzazi Willy M Tuva this evening during an interview.

The prolific and pioneer rapper of the Kenyan music scene also said that his main aim for making music is to inspire people who listen to his music with positive messages, leaving behind a legacy that will inspire his kids in future.

“As an artist I can do any type of music with any artist or even unknown upcoming acts, I can work across the borders and you cannot lock me in a box because music is meant to be universal not targeted,” he went on to add.

So there you have it straight from the horses mouth.
