Is a Nigerian singer, Hip hop artist and TV Presenter whose real name is Amini Abba Umar who hails from the famous Nigerian state, Kano and he is one of the most prominent and celebrated personalities in the Hausa community. He describes himself as a songwriter, performing artist, TV producer and also a presenter.

Nomiis GEE Career and breakthrough

The rapper was born and raised in Kano where he also completed his secondary school education. He studied Mass Communication at the University Of Kano.

The rapper ventured in the music industry when he was about 17 going to 18 years old where he started to write, sing and dance music in various stages

Nomiis Gee in one of his interviews stressed that he believes there are a lot of opportunities in the Nigerian music industry and on his show titled Hip hop, the rapper usually makes it clear that it's not a must for one to be a singer but one can decide to be a designer, graphic artists, director and many other opportunities.

Nomiis Gee also uses his platform as an artist especially in some of his songs to pass a positive message to the society by citing and pointing out some of the biggest challenges facing the community currently. His programs such as Zafafa Goma and Hiphop have also been vocal in educating the youth and once quoted saying that "so many people are organized because of the programs we broadcast"

Nomiis Gee also in one of his interview cited that copyright and piracy are among the biggest challenges facing Nigerian musicians currently because the money that was supposed to be earned by musicians end up in the hands of pirates.
