KENYA: Sauti Sol Prepare For the Final Stop in their 'Live and Die in Afrika' Tour in Mombasa

After touring five towns and cities including Nairobi, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu and Meru, Sauti Sol’s acclaimed Live and Die in Afrika Tour nationwide tour is capping off in Mombasa this weekend (Saturday, May 14th, 2016) at the Mombasa Sports Club.

The anticipated Mombasa finale of the Kenyan edition of the tour comes right after hosting a massive concert in Meru at The Meru National Polytechnic over the past weekend.

The Meru concert was one of the biggest and best of the tour so far, attracting 2,000 plus attendees (most of who were campus and university students), including the Governor of Meru: Peter Munya.

With Kenya’s No. 1 Hypeman DNG as the mcee and DJs: Kaffi, Njambi Koikai a.k.a Fyah Mummah and Meru’s own DJ Kimms steering music entertainment, opening acts included the KISS FM’s winner of the star opening acts search: Teti among other Meru based music acts.

The finale Mombasa concert is bound to be the biggest Sauti Sol concert in Kenya and expected to pull mammoth crowds. Sauti Sol will be backed by their stellar 8-man band, dancers including GQ Dancers, the dance choreographer Chiluba and a list of surprise top Kenyan music acts.

They will perform songs off the album: Live and Die in Afrika, including off album hits like Money Lover, Unconditionally Bae and Gentleman, among others.

The Tour takes on Mombasa for the finale concert this Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at Mombasa Sports Club.
