KENYA: Is the Longest Beef in Kenya's Rap History Over? And Will We Now Get to Hear Octopizzo and Khaligraph on One Track?

Who is King argument aside, Khaligraph Jones and Octopizzo are two of the most prominent rappers in the game in recent years. Many would love to see them on one track but unfortunately theirs is also one of the longest running beefs in Kenyan Hiphop industry.

There’s hardly a time when one appears on media platforms and fail to throw shade on the other.

So over time it’s become even harder and harder to imagine that the two would put their differences aside and embrace each other. That was until yesterday.

Yesterday, the Namba Nane rapper was celebrating his Eight Anniversary in music at the British Council and surprisingly among the guests that attended was his nemesis Khaligraph Jones.

But if you think that is strange, hold on to your knickers because it gets stranger. Octopizzo called him up on stage to address the crowd, but this time instead of bashing each other Khali showered praises on him.

According to Octopizzo, Khaligraph was a part of his success as an artist as he was the first rapper he ever battled with and despite their beef, the two had come a long way together.

But does this mean their beef is finally quashed and will we maybe get to hear them on one track now? Or was this just a one day truce?

That we may have to just wait and see, but until then check out some of the photos from Octo’s eight anniversary celebration…
