KENYA: Jaguar Puts 100 Youth Who Were Former Addicts Through School

‘Vuka Border’ hit maker and NACADA boss Jaguar is perhaps one of the most generous artists in Kenya and rightly so seeing the amount of blessings he has in his life.

From a hit making recording artist, to a successful businessman and then to be entrusted the important job as NACADA (National Authority for Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse) board member, Jaguar certainly is going places.

Nowadays he no longer has to release new music to make the news. In fact just recently he made the news yet again with his acts of kindness.

The NACADA boss in partnership with Unity College, Buru Buru, sponsored 100 youths to start career courses. Among them are former drug addicts who were throwing their lives down the toilet.

Speaking to The Standard Newspaper’s ‘Monday Blues’, Jaguar revealed that the college will be enrolling 100 such youth every three months.

“I thank Buru Buru College for accepting these young people some of whom we have already taken through rehabilitation. They are now out of drugs and after getting education, we will use them as ambassadors to spread the message of “Say no to drugs,” he told MondayBlues.

A good move for Jaguar which comes barely a week after his online Twitter beef with longtime rival CMB Prezzo.
