Adept Nigerian artist and self proclaimed ‘rap chairman’ M.I, might just be the name on every one’s tongue come next week! Why? His tweet below explains everything:

“The square. All right angles.. All sides are equal. The chairman album is a square.. 1. It takes all the right angles 2. It's sides are equal.. What I mean by this is.. Every song on the album has an opposite on the same album.. Eg if there is a song called boy there is a song called girl.. #Art #Perfection #chairmanalbum. Three. Centre of Equilibrium. The Joy of creativity. My third album cometh people.. It is beautiful.. It is the completion of the story I have been telling so far.. The album is set to drop 9 days from now and whenever I think of what it will look/ sound like, I get lost in a plethora of thought. M.I is one rapper who took up rap, wore it, and made it look good on him. See rhyme patterns are nothing without meanings to the words. A lot of rappers can do those flows, but the raps aren't really about anything - which is cool sometimes, but to have the flow and the message is one of my favorite things. Which is exactly what M.I Abaga is known for!
So mark your calendars, set your watches, write ink reminders or even set your alarm clock to ring after nine days! As long as you make sure you don't miss out on the drop of this masterstroke.
